Search and rescue by helicopter in Vietnam now is getting more common. To have helicopter for rescue need to invest more and spend more money than people’s living level. With the state’s aid, Vietnam now has bought some helicopters to accommodate people’s needs and assist people in an emergency.

In cases of emergency, helicopter of aviation companies, air crops and Ministry of National Defence will be appointed to the search and rescue post. The helicopter every year takes part in search and rescue in the flooded Center Vietnam. In addition, the helicopter also supports rescue in fire or accident.

To operate a helicopter however cost too much. To fly to a place where many people need to be rescued can have a safe landing place, good weather to take off, land and fly safely. Therefore, search and rescue still are limited. Hope that in the future people’s life will be improved with development of science and technology. Vietnam will have more helicopters for rescue to help immediately people in an emergency.
